The stadium dominates the city - you can see it from everywhere! Walk up from Central Station through the city centre. The stadium tour is excellent. Great pubs in the Bigg Market area. The Shearer statue is a must-see.
Match Day Tips
The walk up from Central Station is special on matchday. Thousands of fans in black and white. The Strawberry pub opposite the ground is famous. Try Greggs steak bake - a Newcastle tradition. Atmosphere is incredible - even when things go wrong!
